Easy Vegan Pigs in a Blanket

Simple, delicious, and loved by everyone, these “Pigs in a blanket” is ultimate comfort food in a plant-based version! They are prepared within 6 minutes and made just with two main ingredients: Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and Lightlife Jumbo Smart Dogs.

They are easy to make and will be a perfect finger food appetizer for any party.

Instructions:

Cut each hot dog into 3 pieces.

Unroll the dough from the can and separate it into 8 triangles.

Cut each triangle, lengthwise, into 2 thin smaller triangles.

Place the hotdog on the widest end of the triangle and gently roll-up.

Repeat with the remaining hot dogs, making a total of 16 pigs in a blanket.

Sprinkle with seasoning.

Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 

Transfer them to the air fryer wrack or basket and cook for 5 minutes. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may be able to cook all of them at the same time or prepare in 2 batches.

For the sauce:

Whisk together vegan mayo, ketchup, and Sriracha sauce until well combined.

Notes

*You can use toasted sesame seeds or poppy seeds in place of Everything but The Bagel Seasoning Blend
*You can cook them in the oven instead of air fryer for 12 minutes on 350 degrees Fahrenheit
